Wooly horses showing off their coats!

Here are some more pictures of some of the other horses in their winter blankets. They are all pretty wooly right now, but the blankets helped to keep the wind off of them when the temperatures were so frigid. They all seem pretty happy and comfortable. No one was shivering!

Mr. B, Dillon and Dusty in their coats. Dusty, our oldest horse, gets one with a neck attachment to keep her extra comfortable. Dillon and Mr. B are very wooly right now. Their ears look much smaller right now than in the summer because of all the extra hair.

Here is the herd arriving for breakfast in their coats.

Jimz is the black horse in the blue coat. His buddy Hunter is eating some hay in the plaid coat. They play together like young horses, even though they are both in their mid twenties. Jazzy, Izithi, and Celebrity are in the background hanging out together.

Mr. B is so handsome in his blanket. He is wearing an 84 inch blanket, which is very large! We didn’t know if we would ever have anyone who could wear it, but it fit like it was made for him.
